Competition Rules

Below are the rules that apply to all the competitions that appear on the site. In addition to these rules there may be special terms & conditions which are relevant to individual competitions, this will appear as a link on the relevant competition.

  1. All competitions are provided by Intela PTY LTD. ("Intela") of Suite 305, Princess House, 50-60 EastCastle Street, London, W1W 8EA. INTELA PTY LTD Registered in New South Wales, Australia Company No. 135 903 427, (02)8014 9334 info@intela.com.
  2. AussiePrizes.com is an Australian site and unless otherwise stated all competitions are open to Australian residents aged 18 or over.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. Any one competition may be promoted over several different websites simultaneously and may be promoted by reference to different prizes of the same value. However, even with different websites and/or different promotional offers, prize candidates are placed in the same pool. For a full list of the promotions comprising a particular competition, see the link on the promotion's home page.
  5. Entries are made by filling in the appropriate online form. Individuals may have multiple entries in the competition by entering multiple AussiePrizes.com promotions, but multiple entries for the same promotion will be discounted. Entries including false details will be disregarded as will any that are automated or mechanically made. Entries must be submitted within the advertised time limits. Intela reserves the right to reject any entry on reasonable grounds.
  6. Persons connected with Intela PTY LTD., its subsidiaries or any of the competition sponsors or prize suppliers are ineligible.
  7. Winners will be selected at random by computer. competitions will be conducted at the time and date advertised on the promotion's homepage. Unless indicated to the contrary in the special conditions for a promotion, each competition will be conducted at 87 Boundary St, South Brisbane QLD 4101, Australia.
  8. There is no minimum or maximum number of entrants for any competition. The chances of any particular entrant winning a competition depend on the total number of entrants for that competition. Winners may be notified by phone, e-mail or post. Unclaimed prizes will be retained for a minimum period of 3 months at which point Intela will, subject to any laws or regulations requiring a different course of action, conduct a re-draw of the prize or prizes.
  9. If you are a winner, simply follow the instructions provided with notification of your prize and your prize will be sent to you within 30 days.
  10. All prizes are subject to availability. Should any prize be unavailable, a prize of no lesser value will be substituted at Intela's sole discretion.
  11. Intela, in its sole discretion, may substitute the cash equivalent for the prize advertised as the stated prize. Only one prize may be awarded per household for each competition. Winners are responsible for paying any applicable taxes.
  12. By submitting information or an entry each visitor to AussiePrizes.com agrees to receive and consider offers as stated in the Login and sponsored competitions questionnaires. Such offers will be sent only by AussiePrizes.com, its sponsors, its clients or its partners. Individuals may opt out of AussiePrizes.com promotional emails by sending notification to us at unsubscribe@aussieprizes.com. Individuals may opt out of sponsor, client, and partner promotional emails by following their individual unsubscribe procedures.
  13. The winner's names in respect of any competition will also be published on the www.aussieprizes.com website for not less than 3 months following the competition in question. The names of any winners resident in Victoria will also be published in the Herald Sun on the Sunday following the date of the competition. Only if required by law, the names of any winners resident in the Australian Capital Territory will also be published in the Canberra Times.
  14. Entrants agree that by entering a competition their personal details may be stored and otherwise processed by Intela for the purposes of administering the competition and for marketing and sending offers and other information. Intela may also pass entrants details to selected third parties to use for the same purposes, but always strictly in line with its privacy policy and any opt in boxes that entrants have ticked. Please read the privacy policy carefully to understand how we may use your data and what your rights are.
  15. Intela has the right to take photographs of competition winners and to use those photographs and the names and images of such winners to publicize online, in e-mails and through any other media its competitions and other products. Individuals should not enter competitions if they do not agree to this.
  16. Subject to any relevant laws or regulations, Intela may suspend or terminate any competition at any time if it has reasonable grounds for doing so, which grounds may include without limitation a competition (or the website on which it is presented) being subject to, or affected by, any denial-of service attacks, bugs, viruses or any other technologically harmful material or act of hacking by a third party, or in the event of any willful attempt to breach these terms and conditions.
  17. To the extent permitted by law, Intela, other members of our group of companies and third parties connected to Intela hereby expressly exclude:
    1. all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity;
    2. any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any entrant or winner in connection with any competition or any entry.
  1. If Intela incurs any liability to you under a law referred to in clause 18 above or otherwise, Intela's liability will be limited to the supply of goods or services equivalent to those agreed to be supplied under these terms, or the cost of supplying such goods or services.
  2. As a condition of your entry into any competition, you agree to indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all liabilities, other expenses (including costs and legal fees) and damages arising out of claims resulting directly or indirectly from such entry.
  3. AussiePrizes.com is not affiliated with the manufacturer or provider of any prize nor with any of the third parties appearing in the marketing promotional copy unless otherwise indicated.
